Hi, everyone and happy Wednesday! Today I’m going to be sharing three first day of school outfit ideas! I’m really excited about this post because I’ve never done anything like this before and I think it could be really helpful for you all. I really loved taking the pictures for this and creating this post. Enjoy!
Outfit #1 – The “Extra” Person
This outfit is for the person who wants to go all out on the first day. I really like to be extra, so this is actually something I would wear during the first week of school. You can never go wrong with a simple bodycon dress. It’s so easy to just put on without worrying about matching too many things.
Outfit #2 – Smart but Stylish
This outfit is my personal favorite because the button-up top looks really professional and crisp, but paired with these shoes and a pair of dark-wash jeans, it doesn’t look like you’re going into an office job. I think that this outfit would give teachers a good first impression, so if you don’t want to be too extra but don’t want to be super casual either, I would go for an outfit similar to this one.
Outfit #3 – Casual, Comfy, & Cute
This outfit takes comfort into consideration the most. You can wear a simple top and shorts, but still look stylish. If you saw my blog post called Baby Pink V-Neck, you might recognize this top. I’m wearing the same exact one but in black and white. I know that a lot of schools have pretty strict dress codes, so that’s why I wore a longer pair of shorts. I made this outfit a little less simple by adding a pair of statement earrings and a cool bracelet. I got this pair of Converse when I was literally in 8th grade and I completely forgot about them, but they actually looked really cute with this outfit because of the black and gold bracelet and the gold earrings. Also, I literally just realized one of my shoes are untied, I’m so sorry if that annoys you omg.
I hope you liked the outfit ideas that I had for the first day of school! Good luck to everyone on their first day! Mine is September 5th. Leave a comment below about which outfit was your favorite. Make sure you follow me on Instagram and Twitter! Have a wonderful rest of your day!
Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today’s post is featuring this beautiful red and black checkered dress. I’ve actually had it for a little while now and it still fits me perfectly. It flatters my figure really well, but is still super flowy and comfortable. Because I am about 5’8 or 5’9 it’s super hard for me to find dresses that are not too short. I think that this dress is the perfect length for when I want to wear a short, flowy dress that’s not scandalous.
This summer I’ve been really focused with staying hydrated and healthy. I work out 5-6 times a week, maintain a balanced diet, and drink tons and tons of water throughout the day, I really like adding lemons and cucumbers, as you can see in the pictures. I think it adds a little zest to it and gives it a little flavor. Lemons and cucumbers also have tons of health benefits. I really want to do a post on my fitness routine and some of my health tips, so please let me know if that’s something you would like to see on my blog.
Right now I’m on my trip with my family and I pre-wrote this post. I will make sure to keep you updated on my social media accounts and I plan on doing a little travel diary here on my blog once I get back. I hope you loved this outfit and this post! Make sure you follow me on Instagram and Twitter, the links are at the bottom of the post, as usual. My next “Redesign Your Life” post should be up in the next two weeks! Have a wonderful rest of your day!
Hello and Happy Monday! This is my first outfit post on my new blog and I’m so excited. I’ve been loving the trend of tying shirts in the middle, it’s super simple but so cute. This is a simple, casual, everyday look that I think anyone could rock with confidence. If it’s summertime where you live, you probably won’t need to wear the jacket, but I thought it gave the outfit a chicer look. This outfit kind of reminds me of Polina Beregova, who I’m obsessed with. I watch her vlogs and videos all the time, I love her.
On Thursday, my best friend Evelyn and I went downtown and walked around, visited an art museum, took cute pictures for our Instagrams, and got something to eat. I had a really fun time with her. During the first semester of sophomore we had three classes together and life was good, but then second semester we only had one class ever other day (we have an A/B Day schedule at my school) and lunch. I almost never saw her and it was the worst, so I’m really happy that I got to spend some time with her, I love her so much. On Friday, it was my twin sisters’ 14th birthday. They grow up so fast. We celebrated their birthday on Saturday. We went bowling, got dinner, and saw the movie Wonder Woman. We had a really great time and had lots of fun. At the restaurant we went to, there was a festival thing going on right next to it with dancing performances and live music. Which you have probably heard about in my Off-The-Shoulder Post.
I hope you liked the outfit and the short little life update. Please make sure you follow me on Instagram and Twitter, the links are below. I love you!

P.S. Happy Birthday to the beautiful Lana Del Rey
Hi, and Happy Monday! Today’s post is my first outfit post on my blog! I’m really excited for you to see this. So, last Friday was my twin sisters’ 14th birthday and we celebrated on Saturday as a joined celebration of their birthday and Father’s Day. I wore this super cute off-the-shoulder top that I got just the other day and I absolutely love it. We went bowling, got dinner, and saw the movie Wonder Woman. It was an amazing day and my sisters had a lot of fun.
I am obsessed with this top, it’s sooooo soft and comfortable and flowy. I’m also obsessed with those flare jeans. They are the most comfortable pair of jeans that I have and I’m sure you’ll see a lot more of these jeans on my blog. You’re going to notice that a lot of my clothes are going to be from TJ Maxx. I have one in my city, and it’s kind of a hit-or-miss every time we go in, but most of the time I end up finding some really cute clothes. I’m really happy with the way all of these pictures turned out, and I also decided to add some pictures from dinner and this candy store we visited before the movie theater.
I hope you loved my first outfit post as much as I do! Please make sure you follow me eon Instagram and Twitter, my username and the links will be at the bottom of the post. Have a wonderful rest of your day!
